Duration:    3 hours

Delegates: Up to 12

Assessment: Ongoing observation and full engagement in all activities.  All delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Requirements:   In order to gain the most out of the sessions, we request that the delegates remain on the course throughout and a quiet area be allocated to save distraction.

Who is This Course For?

This Demystifying the Inspection process course is aimed all team members who care for and support service users and require an understanding of the inspection requirements and how they can demonstrate these to inspectors with confidence.

Course Content

This demystifying the CQC Inspection process course provides a clearer understanding of the five Key lines of Enquiries  (KLOE) and looks at what is expected of delegates – their roles and responsibilities in the inspection process. It looks at what inspectors look for, and how to capture the evidence under each of the five headings. Delegates will also understand evidence of good and outstanding ratings and how to demonstrate this within their role.

  • New ways of working – what is expected of you and your service – roles and responsibilities
  • Compliance with the Fundamental Standards of Inspection and KLOE
  • How to ensure the standards are met based on the roles and responsibilities
  • What constitutes good to outstanding service and how to demonstrate this within their job roles
  • Maintaining continuous development – to reach a good or an outstanding rating
  • Ensure full understanding of their roles within the inspection process and how to demonstrate this with confidence
  • Maintaining continuous development – your individual responsibility.
